Common Mistakes
- Taking a Screenshot: Screenshots of the image will strip all glow data instantly.
- Sending via Chat: Messaging services often compress the file, converting it to SDR.
- Editing Externally: Opening and saving in other tools flattens the brightness data.
- Low Power Mode: Many screens dim and disable HDR features to save battery.
- Wrong File Type: Converting to JPG or other formats will lose the effect.
Quick Screen Test

Why don't I see the glow?
Your screen may not be HDR-capable, or the brightness is too low. SDR screens will show a normal image.
Can I resize the image?
Resizing usually means the image gets re-saved, and that can kill the glow. Use the PNG straight from Flashblind.
Does this work on all screens?
No, the glow is only visible on screens that support High Dynamic Range content.
