Glow isn’t random. Run this quick checklist so your PNG hits the timeline like a flashbang (and stays normal on SDR).

The Checklist

  1. 1Upload the Original PNG. Always use the exact file generated by Flashblind.
  2. 2Max Brightness. Increase screen brightness to 100% to view the full effect.
  3. 3Check Compatibility. Ensure your screen is HDR-capable.
  4. 4No Filters. Do not apply any filters during the upload process.
  5. 5No fancy edits. Croppers/editors can quietly kill the glow.
  6. 6Direct Upload. Select the file directly from your files or photos.
  7. 7Avoid Compression. Some services compress images which removes the glow.
  8. 8Verify Result. View the final post on a supported screen to confirm.

FAQ

Why don't I see the glow?

Your screen may not be HDR-capable, or the brightness is too low. SDR screens will show a normal image.

Can I resize the image?

Resizing usually means the image gets re-saved, and that can kill the glow. Use the PNG straight from Flashblind.

Does this work on all screens?

No, the glow is only visible on screens that support High Dynamic Range content.

What if I need to edit it?

It is recommended to edit your source image before converting it with Flashblind to preserve the final output data.
